Job Overview

Home Instead is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Support Worker to join our team in Scotland. As a Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare and serve meals, ensuring clients' dietary needs are met
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to combat loneliness and isolation
  • Assist with light housekeeping and laundry tasks
  • Monitor and report any changes in clients' condition to our care team

Shift Patterns

We offer a rolling rota to ensure a good work-life balance. Our shift patterns include:

  • Early shifts: 8am to 3pm
  • Afternoon shifts: 4:30pm to 10pm
  • Evening shifts: 8am to 10pm (with breaks)

Requirements

  • Previous experience in care or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to providing high-quality care
