Support Workers Wanted

Just Better Care is seeking skilled Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide in-home care and support services to individuals with disabilities and the elderly, enabling them to live independently.

  • Personal care: assisting with showering, dressing, grooming, and medication management
  • Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Social support/transportation: accompanying clients to social activities, shopping, and medical appointments
  • Supporting clients with complex needs and providing assistance with daily living activities
  • Monitoring client well-being and reporting progress
  • Participating in staff meetings and attending training sessions as required
  • Providing overnight support and assistance as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Individual Support, or Disability Services
  • Current CPR/First Aid Certificate
  • Current and satisfactory Criminal Record Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening ID/Yellow Card
  • Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence
  • Reliable, registered, and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance)
  • Smartphone with internet access
