Job Title: Team Leader - Care Home

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our team at Templeton House Care Home. As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care and support are delivered to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Supervise and lead a team of care assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Assist residents with all aspects of their care needs, including administering medication and monitoring their wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring they are tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident.
  • Monitor and report any concerns or issues related to resident wellbeing, taking prompt action to address any issues.

Requirements:

  • SVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in a care leadership role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care and support.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of care legislation and regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
