Role Overview

As a pivotal member of our team, you will:

  • Lead a dedicated team to enhance the implementation of a comprehensive assurance and testing framework.
  • Supervise a structured program of assurance evaluations for designated regulated entities.
  • Deploy assurance methodologies and deliverables tailored for specific business units.
  • Collaborate with business units and functional leaders to provide valuable assurance insights.
  • Facilitate a comprehensive assurance training initiative.
  • Conduct thorough risk and control assessments, perform root cause analyses, and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Steer projects and initiatives aimed at evolving a forward-thinking and resilient assurance function.

Essential Skills

  • A degree or advanced qualification in a relevant field.
  • In-depth understanding of BT's Group Risk Framework and assurance practices.
  • Proven expertise in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) policy and the integration of risk management.
  • Strong grasp of Openreach's strategic objectives and business goals.
  • Experience in engaging and motivating teams to achieve results.
  • Capability to manage intricate projects and tasks under demanding conditions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
