Quantitative Researcher Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our team at Venture Up, a progressive Sports betting Hedge fund Company based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop statistical models to compute the probabilities of outcomes in various sports.
  • Work on building probabilistic models, focusing on quality and evolution, which are central to the company's success.
  • Extract information from sporting and market data sources, using innovative methods.
  • Collaborate with a highly skilled team to solve complex sporting questions.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in horse racing, Basketball, or US Sports within the sports betting industry.
  • Electronic Trading Experience.
  • Proficiency in software design and development using Python, Pandas, and SQL/NoSQL, TensorFlow.
  • Strong academic background, with Straight As at A level (or equivalent).
  • Kaggle profile (or other practical statistical experience).
