Our innovative biotechnology company, based outside of Cambridge, is seeking an experienced Scientist to support the development of our synthetic RNA technologies. With a platform to synthesise DNA and RNA, we're pushing the boundaries of gene constructs and seeking a talented individual to join our RNA team.

The Opportunity

We're looking for a Scientist with a PhD in RNA Biology or a BSc/MSc with industry experience in RNA-related projects. As a Scientist within our RNA team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Conducting molecular biology experiments related to synthetic DNA, mRNA synthesis, and gene expression.
  • Supporting external collaborators and internal R&D projects involving synthetic DNA and RNA.
  • Optimising the DNA to in vitro RNA conversion process and subsequent RNA purification.
  • Conducting cell-based assays to evaluate immune response to RNA.
