Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team at Devon County Council. The successful candidate will work with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the learning and development of children with SEND
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to implement individualized education plans
  • Provide a kind and caring environment for children to thrive
  • Assist with behavioral, social, and emotional development strategies
  • Communicate effectively with children, teachers, and parents
