The Role:

As a key member of the JD Gyms team, the Duty Manager will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the gym. This includes leading and managing the team to deliver exceptional customer service, driving sales, and ensuring the smooth operation of the club.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales
  • Assume the responsibilities of the General Manager in their absence
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve commercial performance and operational excellence
  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
  • Deliver set KPIs and contribute to the overall success of the business

The Ideal Candidate:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who has a passion for customer service and leadership. The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in a management position within a leisure-related industry
  • Qualifications to at least Level 2 Gym Instructor
  • Experience in driving sales and managing a successful team
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
