About the Role

We are seeking a warm and welcoming Front of House Assistant to join our team at Bannatyne Health Club in Shrewsbury. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a vital role in setting the tone for their entire experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Deal with emails, phone calls, and face-to-face queries in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages and light snacks efficiently, if applicable.
  • Manage spa bookings and appointments, ensuring a smooth scheduling process.
  • Handle guest inquiries, providing information about spa services, treatments, and products.
  • Process payments and manage the reception area efficiently.
  • Assist with the promotion of spa services, special offers, and retail products.
  • Ensure the reception area is clean, tidy, and inviting at all times.
  • Coordinate with Spa Therapists and other staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Log all visitors to the site, including contractors and guest passes.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with strong interpersonal and communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and a genuine passion for health, wellness, and customer service. Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities are essential. The ability to establish rapport, build trust, and demonstrate credibility is also crucial.

Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry, is desirable. Proficiency in using booking systems and basic computer skills is also beneficial.
