About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Developer to join our Execution Analytics team at Man Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building advanced analytics and visualizations to support our trading desk and researchers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust, scalable analytics and visualizations to analyze large datasets
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to develop and deploy new tools and systems
  • Develop a deep understanding of listed and OTC instruments, including their trading behavior and performance metrics
  • Work with our technology team to leverage the full scientific Python stack, including NumPy, Pandas, and Plotly
  • Contribute to the development of our platform, which delivers insight into our execution performance
About the Team

Our Execution Analytics team is a small, agile team that is responsible for building the platform that delivers insight into our execution performance. We have direct exposure to every asset class and strategy across the firm, providing a unique opportunity to build a deep understanding of the financial markets that underpin Man Group's business.

Requirements
  • Exceptional technology skills, recognized by your peers as an expert in your domain
  • Strong knowledge of Python and relevant mathematical knowledge, such as statistics
  • Proven experience in building visualizations for large and complex datasets
  • Familiarity with a range of open-source frameworks and development tools, such as NumPy, Pandas, and Plotly
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain close working relationships with quantitative researchers, traders, and senior business people
