Admissions and Enrolment Manager Role

About the Position:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Admissions and Enrolment Manager to join our team at Jigsaw Specialist Recruitment. As a key member of our Registry department, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of a highly effective and efficient admissions service.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the day-to-day operations and enhancement of the admissions service, ensuring seamless delivery and high-quality student experience.
  2. Process applications, organize interviews, conduct fee assessments, manage confirmations and clearing, and oversee induction and registration/enrolment.
  3. Monitor student recruitment through the compilation and production of regular admissions reports, providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  4. Support the Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to Home Office legislation related to student visas, maintaining a secure and compliant admissions process.
  5. Provide exceptional service to internal departments, including Schools and Professional Services, fostering strong relationships and collaboration.
  6. Ensure all admissions-related regulations, policies, and procedures are current, align with sector best practices, and incorporate any legislative changes, maintaining a proactive approach to compliance.
  7. Develop and maintain up-to-date international qualification equivalencies for accurate and consistent admissions decisions, ensuring a fair and transparent process.
  8. Represent the institution at national meetings, conferences, open days, outreach, and recruitment events as required, promoting the institution's reputation and values.
  9. Collaborate closely with the Marketing and Communications team and course teams to achieve institutional goals, driving student recruitment and engagement.

Requirements:

  1. Previous experience in a similar environment is essential, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality admissions services.
  2. Experience with admissions processes, including knowledge of UCAS procedures, is highly desirable.
  3. Proven ability to line manage a small team, with a strong focus on leadership and development.
  4. Demonstrated experience in devising, organizing, and managing effective administrative processes, with a focus on efficiency and quality.
  5. Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service, with a customer-centric approach.
