Key Responsibilities

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Leading your team effectively by:
    • Meeting personal performance targets
    • Enhancing product knowledge and staying current with beauty trends
    • Conducting customer appointments and showcasing your artistry
    • Maintaining a customer-focused approach at all times
  • Managing the operational aspects of your counter, including developing business strategies to ensure success
  • Creating and distributing staff schedules, as well as managing payroll, attendance, and HR documentation
  • Overseeing inventory management, stock assessments, and visual merchandising
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Utilizing retail management meetings to provide feedback on counter performance
  • Ensuring that your team meets business objectives, targets, and KPIs, addressing any performance issues with support from the Training Team or Area Manager as needed
  • Inspiring your team to enhance their artistry, product knowledge, and overall performance, leveraging training resources
  • Conducting regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews, supporting your team's career aspirations
  • Addressing any performance or conduct issues in accordance with company policies, escalating when necessary

Qualifications

The essential qualifications and experience required for this role include:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role (minimum of 5 team members), preferably in the luxury retail sector
  • A genuine passion for makeup and skincare
  • Demonstrated success in leading a retail team
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive, proactive attitude
  • Strong communication and numerical skills
  • Comfortable working towards and exceeding performance metrics
  • Organized and punctual
