Job Title: HR Business Partner

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic HR Business Partner to join our professional HR service at Saíd Business School, a world-renowned institution part of the University of Oxford.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work proactively with senior leaders and managers within the School, enabling them to achieve departmental and School-wide objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing a robust Workforce Plan in collaboration with senior leaders.
  • Providing high-level operational advice on HR issues, including disciplinary actions, grievances, organisational change and TUPE.
  • Leading on complex employee relations cases, including employment tribunals, and working collaboratively with divisional and central HR teams.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, influencing decisions and delivering innovative HR solutions.
About You

You will have extensive experience advising line managers on a wide range of HR issues within complex organisations, preferably in a unionised environment. You should hold or be willing to work towards a CIPD Level 7 qualification, and possess a deep understanding of employment law and HR best practices.
