Construction Project Coordinator

Kier Group is seeking a dedicated Project Manager to enhance our Construction division.
Location: South Devon, South West
Contract Type: Permanent, full-time.
Key Responsibilities
In the capacity of Project Manager, you will be instrumental in managing a significant Government construction initiative that will serve as a vital resource for the community. This position is ideal for individuals with robust civil engineering expertise, tasked with overseeing the execution of high-value components of the project.
Your daily responsibilities will encompass:
- Collaborating with sub-contractors to review project timelines and designs,
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality assurance, and adherence to schedules and budgets through effective resource and supply chain management,
- Monitoring sub-contractor performance to ensure project timelines are met.
Candidate Profile
This Project Manager role is well-suited for candidates who:
- Possess a Degree/HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management,
- Can demonstrate substantial experience in delivering large-scale construction projects within a primary contractor setting,
- Have a solid understanding of commercial and contractual aspects of NEC and JCT Contract conditions.
