Position: Construction Site Supervisor

Type: Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities:

As a Construction Site Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing a significant government construction project that will serve as an essential resource for the community. Your leadership will ensure the safe execution of construction operations on-site.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and guiding subcontractor teams under the project manager's direction to safely complete work packages,
  • Evaluating subcontractor work to ensure compliance with project timelines, design specifications, and quality benchmarks,
  • Assessing Risk Assessments and Method Statements from subcontractors to confirm that their working methods are safe and suitable,
  • Conducting toolbox talks and site orientations to guarantee adherence to Kier standards,
  • Coordinating site logistics, including the movement of equipment and personnel to maintain safety protocols.

Qualifications:

This Construction Site Supervisor role is ideal for candidates who possess:

  • A relevant construction qualification (HND/Degree/SVQ) or equivalent technical trade certification,
  • SMSTS 5 Day Certification,
  • CSCS Card,
  • First Aid certification.
