Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee our Construction division. This role is pivotal in managing a significant Government construction initiative that will serve as a vital resource for the community.

Location: South Devon, South West

Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities:

As a Project Manager, your primary duties will include:

  • Collaborating with sub-contractors to review project timelines and designs,
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines while effectively managing resources and supply chains,
  • Overseeing sub-contractor performance to ensure adherence to project schedules.

Qualifications:

This position is ideal for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Possess a Degree/HND or equivalent in a relevant discipline such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management,
  • Demonstrate substantial experience in managing large-scale construction projects within a main contractor setting,
  • Have a solid understanding of commercial and contractual frameworks, particularly NEC and JCT Contract conditions.
