About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Performance Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Senior Performance Analyst and Performance Analysts in ensuring that statistical and statutory returns are completed for the Department of Health, Trust, and other organizations within the deadlines for submissions.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Performance Analyst and Performance Analysts in ensuring that statistical and statutory returns are completed for the Department of Health, Trust, and other organizations within the deadlines for submissions.
  • Process data, ensuring audit checks are regularly carried out and data integrity is maintained.
  • Process data and produce routine reports and graphs by manipulating the data in a variety of software, including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Access.
  • Support the delivery of both regular and ad-hoc information to clinicians and managers for monitoring of service performance as delegated by the Senior Performance Analyst and Performance Analysts.
  • Monitor data quality reports and bring any concerns about data quality to the attention of the appropriate team member.

Requirements
  • GCSE including Mathematics and English
  • NVQ or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience gained working in the NHS
  • Certificate in using Microsoft Office Applications
  • Knowledge of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook)
  • Evidence of organizational and time management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of NHS data sets and statutory returns
  • Excellent analytical and numeric skills and methodical approach to problem solving
  • Experience of working in Information management/reporting
  • Previous NHS Experience
  • An effective and supportive team player
  • Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Capable of working with high workloads and to strict deadlines
