Deputy Head Housekeeper Job Description

As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests experience exceptional stays in immaculate rooms.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation in our rooms
  • Mentor and guide your team to deliver exceptional service and attention to detail
  • Respond promptly to guest comments and issues, resolving problems efficiently and professionally
  • Oversee the completion of tasks within set timeframes, ensuring seamless operations
  • Clean bedrooms to the highest standards, adhering to our quality control procedures
  • Ensure all team members adhere to hotel procedures and protocols
  • Deputise for the Head Housekeeper as required, taking on additional responsibilities
  • Assist in the induction and training of new team members, promoting a culture of excellence
  • Contribute to the control and management of stock and linen, ensuring efficient operations
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual who can lead by example and inspire their team to deliver exceptional results.

You'll need to be an effective communicator, able to work well under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in challenging situations.

Previous experience in a 4-star hotel environment, particularly in a supervisory or management role, is desirable but not essential.
