Childcare Activities Facilitator - Ultimate Holiday Camps

Position Overview:

  • Role: Childcare Activities Facilitator
  • Employment Type: Seasonal positions available during summer and half-term breaks.
  • Working Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM on weekdays. Options for full-time or part-time roles, with additional hours for those with a paediatric first aid certification (typically 8 AM – 6 PM).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children.
  • Deliver engaging and structured activities (including sports, arts, and play) for our youngest participants, referred to as Ultimate Activity Juniors.
  • Collaborate with the Early Years Leader to ensure all activities align with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards, focusing on active participation.
  • Act as a primary contact for children aged 4 and 5, providing exceptional care and support.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience working with children and facilitating activities.
  • A genuine passion for fostering child development through play and engagement.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • A flexible team player, capable of adapting to the dynamic environment of a holiday camp.
  • Seeking a fulfilling seasonal position while advancing a career in childcare and coaching.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Early Years children and knowledge of EYFS delivery.
  • Qualification at Level 2 in childcare or Early Years, or progress towards a degree in a relevant field (e.g., Primary Education or Early Years).
  • Certification in Paediatric First Aid (12 or 6 hour) or First Aid at Work.
