About the Role

The Group Manager, Office of the Regional Wayfinder leads the team responsible for ensuring the Regional Commissioning Team operates as a high-performing business unit. This includes coordination functions such as business planning, reporting, risk management, ministerial servicing, and emergency planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies and initiatives across the organization
  • Lead a high-performing team of professionals in a multi-faceted and demanding environment
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Te Whatu Ora and Te Aka Whai Ora colleagues
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in managing critical systems and processes
  • Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and developing business strategies
  • Strong understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and the ability to apply its principles in a meaningful way
  • Competency with te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth
