Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Partnership Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Global Partnerships team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with major players in the payments value chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement issuer outreach programs, including internal and external operating models, company-wide goals, and detailed success metrics for UK/EU Issuer Programs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key partners, including banks and networks, to drive business growth and improve payments performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Risk, to ensure seamless execution of partnership initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategies to improve payments performance, reduce costs for users, and influence global partners to deliver improved performance.
  • Work closely with user-facing teams to gather insight into pain points driving user challenges and performance concerns.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, corporate development, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience related to payments, card networks, and/or financial services.
  • Thorough understanding of payments business models, ecosystem dynamics, and the risk factors used by networks and issuers to make authorization decisions.
  • Ability to think strategically and set up new user-facing operations that require deep coordination with cross-functional teams, users, issuers, and networks.
  • Experience negotiating commercial deals with banks and networks, including scaling such deals across multiple partners.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Second EU relevant language preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range for this role is £81,300 - £121,900. Benefits may include equity, company bonus, sales commissions/bonuses, retirement plans, and other perks.
