Position Overview
We invite applications for the role of Senior Clinical Trainee in the field of Plastic Surgery, specifically focusing on Microsurgery.
Role Responsibilities
The Plastic Surgery department is responsible for comprehensive management of various plastic surgical needs, including urgent care. Our services encompass specialized procedures such as breast reconstruction, treatment of head and neck malignancies, intricate hand surgeries, and corrective surgeries for cleft lip and palate.
We seek a candidate with a keen interest in advancing their career in plastic surgery. This position is particularly suited for individuals who have prior experience in plastic surgery and are eager to enhance their skills further.
Important Information
Please be aware that this position does not have the endorsement of the Postgraduate Dean or recognition for training.
Candidates must possess Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at the time of application.
Communication Skills
Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in listening, reading, writing, and speaking in English, which is essential for effective communication regarding medical matters with both patients and colleagues, as outlined in the GMC's Good Medical Practice. Non-UK applicants are required to have completed the IELTS/OET examination prior to obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
