About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced First Line Support professional to join our team in Sheffield. As a First Line Support specialist, you will be responsible for providing effective proactive monitoring of customer equipment and providing first line support and diagnostics for customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first line support and diagnostics for customers
  • Monitor customer equipment and identify potential issues
  • Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Log, update and close event management tickets in a quality and timely manner
  • Take corrective action where quality issues are identified
  • Coordinate technical fault resolution and provide wide IT/communications understanding
  • Provide excellent customer focus and understanding of key customer requirements
  • Experience in dealing with internal and external customers/suppliers
  • Good PC skills including MS Office suite
Requirements:
  • Must have experience of working in a first line service desk environment
  • Experience of triage and fault diagnosis is desired
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Comfortable with making high volume calls and speaking with people at all levels
  • Good computer skills and ability to manage several applications at once
  • BPSS check required
