Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our Portfolio Office team at Scottish Fire and Rescue Service. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in driving business transformation and delivering high-impact projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and refine high-level requirements to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand operating models and identify areas for improvement
  • Design and implement end-to-end solution designs for projects and change initiatives
  • Embed best practices in business analysis and solution design
  • Ensure a user-centered approach to analysis and design

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience with business analysis techniques, such as SADDM
  • Knowledge of cost-benefit analysis or basic financial analysis techniques

Desirable Skills:

  • UML, POPIT model understanding
  • Prince2 Practitioner or Agile PM Practitioner
