We're seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team at KP Snacks. As a key member of our payroll operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our 2400 employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Complexity Management: Tackle intricate payroll scenarios, including bonuses, deductions, pensions, and statutory payments, ensuring compliance with UK payroll legislation.
  • Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT to optimise our payroll systems and ensure seamless integration with other business systems.
  • Mentorship and Support: Share your expertise by training and developing team members, and act as the go-to person for resolving payroll queries and issues.

Requirements:

  • Organisational and Time-Management Skills: Strong organisational and time-management skills are required to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Confidentiality: You'll need to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Mindset: A problem-solving mindset with the ability to work under pressure is essential.
  • CIPP Qualification (Desirable): A CIPP qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience in Large Organisations: Previous experience working in a large, multi-site organisation is beneficial.
  • Payroll-Related Projects: Experience with payroll-related projects, such as system implementations or upgrades, is an advantage.
