Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our team at IronMarket Talent. As an Accounts Administrator, you will be responsible for maintaining and administering the purchase ledger, coordinating purchase ledger processes, and posting purchase invoices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for the maintenance and administration of the purchase ledger.
  • Coordinate purchase ledger processes and posting of purchase invoices.
  • Create supplier payment runs on the system.
  • Raising invoices in line with 3 billing cycles.
  • Raising credit and debit notes.
  • Reconciling direct debt payments.
  • Bank reconciliations and posting cash to the system.
  • Setting up client direct debits.
  • Nominal ledger responsibilities.
  • Chasing overdue payments.
  • Dealing with incoming queries into the department.

Requirements

  • Good all-rounder who works well under pressure and is detail orientated.
  • Proven experience in a similar accounts role.
  • Previous experience with Sage 50 would be advantageous.
  • Confident Excel skills including VLOOKUPS, XLOOKUPS, HLOOKUPS, and SUMIFS.
