Job Title: Regional Sales Manager - Specialist Plant Hire

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team at BMS Performance. As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing a field-based sales team of 5 across the northwest of the UK, selling specialist technical plant hire services to a diverse customer base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a field-based sales team of 5, providing coaching and development opportunities to improve their skills and performance.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve tangible results and drive team performance improvement.
  • Manage key accounts and build strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans to achieve targets.
  • Conduct regular sales performance reviews and provide feedback to team members to improve their performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in managing a team of field-based B2B salespeople, with a passion for coaching and learning & development.
  • Exceptional sales training and coaching skills, with a proven record of achieving tangible results of team performance improvement.
  • Experience selling to manufacturing, comfortable on the factory floor.
  • Structured, organised, process-driven approach to sales.
  • Able to spend occasional nights away from home.
  • Driving licence.

Benefits:

  • Up to £60,000 basic salary DoE.
  • £25,000 - £30,000 bonus, uncapped.
