Exciting opportunity to work for a leading construction company in their head office based in Woking and projects around Surrey. These projects include new builds & extensions within the housing sector.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and ensure that the highest standards of health and safety are always maintained.
  • Creation and review of risk assessments, method statements, and COSHH assessments.
  • Pre-construction / Construction Phase Plan and health and safety file creation and management.
  • Undertake site audits and inspections, identifying areas for improvement and reporting on the findings.
  • Ensure compliance on all sites / CDM advice and guidance.
  • Attending site and management meetings.
  • Holding, chairing, and minuting meetings/producing and presenting presentations.

Requirements:

  • Currently UK based.
  • Proven, minimum 3 years previous experience within a UK construction health and safety role.
  • IOSH certificate.
  • First aid qualified.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Thorough understanding of CDM regulations and site health and safety.
