About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environmental Manager to join our central SHE team at Willmott Dixon. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, advise, support, enforce, and report on standards of health, safety, and environment, ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Ensure our sites are up-to-date with current legislation and group policy and procedures, effectively communicating these to all stakeholders.
  • Identify new and innovative ways of working to improve Health, Safety, and Environment performance, ensuring compliance with statutory legislation.
  • Provide leadership and support to staff and supply chain on all SHE matters, ensuring a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Respond to all accidents and incidents within appropriate timescales, ensuring internal and statutory notifications are in place, providing sufficient detail to protect our business interests and give an accurate account of the root cause of the accident/incident along with details of corrective action.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction certificate)
  • CSCS Card
  • FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal
  • IOSH affiliated member
  • Valid Driving licence
  • Maintained good standards of HS&E on construction and housing projects
  • Worked on a wide range of construction methods and trades from groundwork's to internal fit-out and finishing trades
  • Worked with project team to develop innovative ways of working which improve HS&E standards
  • Reviewed new products and standards and making recommendations for implementation
