Accommodation Operations Manager

Cloud Student Homes is a leading provider of Purpose Built Student Accommodation in England, dedicated to delivering exceptional student experiences. As an Accommodation Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest safety standards while providing a first-class residential and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the residence with a focus on safety, security, and social aspects of university life.
- Lead the management of the residence, ensuring compliance with operating principles and supporting the achievement of industry-leading service levels.
- Maintain the facility to the highest standards, adhering to all relevant legislation and industry standards.
- Liaise with colleagues to ensure collaboration across the facility.
- Recruit, train, and develop staff to promote the 'more than just a room' philosophy.
- Promote a vibrant community across the facility.
- Assist agents with check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring efficient room management and GDPR compliance.
- Manage social activities, staffed and monitored in line with Cloud Student Homes policies.
- Day-to-day management of service delivery to students, including parcel collection, parking, and health and safety checks.
- Manage key relationships with outside contractors and third-party representatives.
- Oversee residence maintenance and housekeeping, ensuring sector-leading service levels.
- Monitor contractor and service contracts for efficient implementation and compliance.
- Conduct regular inspections of common spaces, maintaining records in line with Cloud Student Homes procedures.
- Monitor Service Charge budgets to ensure value for money and cost savings on behalf of Investors.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures in accordance with legislation and the ANUK accreditation scheme.
- Support colleagues with immigration legislation requirements.
- Ensure 'right to rent' legislation documentation is checked, recorded, and stored in line with policy.
