We are seeking an experienced Business Administrator to join our team at Novus Recruitment. As a key member of our office team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our Business Services Manager and ensuring the smooth operation of our Truro office.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Business Services Manager in managing the day-to-day activities of the office
- Be the main point of contact for the Truro office, handling daily post, deliveries, and organizing office repairs and maintenance
- Cover for other members of the Business Services team as needed
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the office
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, checking shared inboxes, and actioning requests as required
- Book travel and hotels for company-wide use
- Update credit card spends and maintain records
- Manage online orders and maintain systems
- Meet and greet visitors, and format documents and reports
- Act as the Compliance Champion for the Truro office, conducting weekly fire alarm and H&S checks, and updating spreadsheets
- Manage office stock levels, ordering supplies as needed
- Assist with the management and maintenance of the company-wide fleet
- Manage mobile phones, ordering and issuing devices, and updating spreadsheets and phone lists
- Order PPE, workwear, and ID cards, and arrange couriers
- Assist the HR/Compliance Manager in preparing for audits
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive to the office
- Availability to work hybrid from home 1 day per week after probationary period
