About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stroke Consultant to join our team at Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Stroke Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with acute stroke and transient ischaemic attack (TIA).

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical opinion on stroke and general medicine-related problems
  • Lead the development and implementation of stroke care pathways and protocols
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the education and training of junior medical staff
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities
Requirements
  • Full registration with the GMC
  • MRCP (or equivalent) and specialist register or within 6 months in one of the stroke parent specialities
  • Stroke experience (at equivalent level to Stroke CCST)
  • Excellent clinical skills and leadership abilities
