Your Role

As a Senior 2D Animation Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in the production of high-quality animations that enhance our gaming projects. Your expertise in Spine 2D will be essential in bringing characters and environments to life, ensuring they align with our artistic vision and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animation Development:
    • Create and manage top-tier 2D animations utilizing Spine 2D.
    • Design intricate rigging systems for characters and objects to achieve smooth and engaging animations.
    • Collaborate with the art team to ensure animation assets are consistent with the overall artistic direction.
  • Technical Collaboration:
    • Work alongside developers to integrate animations into the game engine, ensuring optimal functionality.
    • Optimize animations for performance and memory efficiency while maintaining high quality.
    • Identify and resolve any technical challenges related to animation.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Engage with game designers, programmers, and fellow artists to ensure cohesive animation throughout the project.
    • Contribute to team discussions and provide insights on animation strategies and processes.
    • Maintain effective communication with team members to facilitate smooth project progression.
What We Seek

Experience:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in 2D animation for gaming, particularly with Spine 2D.
  • A proven history of delivering high-quality animations for published game titles.

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Spine 2D animation software.
  • Strong grasp of animation principles, rigging techniques, and motion dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
