Your Role

As a Senior 2D Animation Specialist, you will be instrumental in crafting engaging animations that enhance our gaming products. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team of artists, designers, and developers to breathe life into characters and elements, ensuring they align with our high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Animation Creation:
    • Design, implement, and uphold top-tier 2D animations utilizing Spine 2D.
    • Establish intricate rigging systems for characters and objects to achieve smooth and dynamic animations.
    • Partner with the art team to guarantee that animation assets reflect the intended artistic vision and style.
  • Technical Integration:
    • Work alongside developers to embed animations into the game engine, ensuring flawless functionality and performance.
    • Optimize animations for efficiency and memory management while maintaining quality.
    • Identify and resolve technical challenges related to animations.
  • Team Collaboration:
    • Engage with game designers, programmers, and fellow artists to ensure cohesive animation throughout the project.
    • Contribute to team discussions and provide insights on animation-related strategies and processes.
    • Foster effective communication with team members to facilitate smooth collaboration and project advancement.
Qualifications

Experience:

  • At least 1 year of experience in 2D animation for gaming, with a strong emphasis on Spine 2D.
  • A proven history of producing high-quality animations for released game titles.

Skills:

  • Expertise in Spine 2D animation software.
  • Deep understanding of animation principles, rigging, and motion dynamics.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork capabilities.
