About The Role
As a Junior Prop Artist, you will contribute to our Harmony productions by creating effective and intuitive 2D assets. Your focus will be on translating the show's design style into production-ready props, ensuring they adhere to technical conventions for seamless integration with animation.
We seek a motivated individual eager to learn and receptive to feedback.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Develop prop designs from concept to production level, including rigging for animation.
- Analyze prop and character designs, along with animatics, to determine rigging requirements.
- Collaborate with Lead Prop Artists to create rigs for props and visual effects designs.
- Maintain the quality and style of assets in line with production standards.
- Produce character turnarounds, special poses, and redesigns.
- Optimize rig performance using Master Controllers and other Harmony tools.
- Incorporate feedback from Rigging Leads and Animation Supervisors.
Must Have:
- Solid understanding of ToonBoom Harmony.
- Experience in design and animation.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to receive and implement direction effectively.
- A detail-oriented team player with a collaborative spirit.
- A positive attitude towards learning and a strong desire to develop your skills.
