Import Operations Coordinator

About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Import Customer Service Specialist to join our dynamic team at DB Schenker. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering efficient and proactive import services to our customers, overseas partners, and related service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of import operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
- Provide outstanding customer service to clients and overseas partners, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with related service providers to streamline import processes and enhance service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records of import transactions and ensure timely and accurate documentation.
- Proactively monitor shipments and communicate updates to customers and partners.
- Identify opportunities to improve import processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
About You
- Previous experience in import operations and customer service in Airfreight.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
