Casual Waiting/Hospitality Staff

We are seeking a skilled and friendly individual to join our team at Bath Racecourse as a Casual Waiting/Hospitality Staff member.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all guests, ensuring a positive experience at all times.
  • Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team to deliver high-quality service.
  • Be knowledgeable about all products available within the venue and provide recommendations to guests.
  • Contribute to maintaining a welcoming and clean environment within the venue.
  • Assist with stock management and rotation to minimize waste and ensure efficient operations.
  • Prepare and lay up restaurants and boxes for meal and refreshment service.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently, using correct service knowledge and maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
  • Manage cash handling and operate tills accurately, following prescribed procedures.
  • Record temperature and other relevant data accurately, adhering to Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Adhere to licensing policies and procedures, handling cash, stock, and equipment securely.
  • Act as an information point for guests, providing helpful and friendly assistance.
  • Record and dispose of waste, adhering to venue recycling initiatives.
  • Adhere to Company policies and procedures, undertaking other reasonable duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Be smart, polite, and professional at all times, with excellent verbal communication and customer care skills.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability, with a passion for quality service and standards.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle difficult situations and work with honesty and integrity.
  • Experience working in a hospitality environment is preferred but not essential.
