We are currently in search of a Senior Architectural Technician to deliver expert technical assistance on various projects from the initial stages through to completion. This role involves the creation of design concepts, technical schematics, and ensuring adherence to all pertinent regulations.

Reporting directly to the Principal Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating high-quality concept and technical drawings using Autocad and Revit. These drawings will be essential for planning, tendering, and construction across a diverse range of project types, including new constructions, renovations, and groundwork initiatives. You will also oversee change management processes within the organization to facilitate the ongoing development of specifications and collaborate with external suppliers and consultants as instructed by Development Managers.

About You

With a minimum of an HND or equivalent in a building-related discipline, you will possess a robust background as an Architectural Technician within the UK. Your communication skills, both verbal and written, will be exemplary, complemented by strong organizational abilities that enable effective liaison with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

As a proficient Autocad user with a comprehensive understanding of Building Regulations and other relevant legislation, including British Standards, you will have substantial experience in managing planning applications and the capability to produce high-quality technical construction drawings. Familiarity with Revit is considered advantageous.

Additional Information

This position is primarily based in a flexible work environment, allowing for a blend of home and office work. Following an initial onboarding period, you can expect to spend 1-2 days in the office each week, with the remainder of your time working remotely. Be prepared for occasional UK travel, which may require overnight stays as necessary.
