Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant to join our team in the Renewable Energy sector. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the wind energy sector and will be responsible for managing and delivering wind energy projects for developers and investors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Manage and deliver wind energy projects from pre-feasibility to construction management.
- Technical Support: Provide technical engineering support to clients at all stages of the project development cycle.
- Wind Yield Team Support: Contribute to the development of wind resource assessment methodologies.
- Reporting and Quality Assurance: Prepare, review, and approve technical and non-technical reports, as well as proposals.
- Liaison and Client Facing: Liaise with clients and stakeholders, and lead commercial activities such as proposal writing and client presentations.
- Business Development: Support business development and professional excellence activities, including expanding our database of best practice commercial and technical documentation.
Requirements:
- STEM Degree/Masters: A degree in a STEM field or a related field.
- Renewable Energy Experience: Relevant experience working in the renewable energy sector, preferably in a technical consultancy or project developer environment.
- Project Management Experience: Experience in project management, with the ability to lead a project team.
- Technical Skills: Strong practical knowledge of renewable energy assets, including wind energy, and experience with tools such as Excel VBA, Python, WindPRO, Meteodyn, and Sift.
