About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group. As a key member of our multidisciplinary therapy team, you will work closely with our staff and pupils to provide a holistic and therapeutic approach to supporting individuals with special needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement a dynamic and evidence-based approach to Occupational Therapy, ensuring the occupational and sensory needs of our pupils are met.
  • Conduct standardized and non-standardized assessments, develop and implement bespoke interventions, and prepare relevant documentation.
  • Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required.
  • Work collaboratively with our therapy team to create a supportive and inclusive environment for our pupils.

Requirements:

  • Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons) degree
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including those with complex needs and behaviors of concern
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders and resolve conflicts effectively
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in Occupational Therapy, with a focus on special needs
  • Experience in lecturing, teaching, or training, with a focus on Occupational Therapy
  • Skills in data management and analysis, with the ability to collect and interpret data to inform service delivery and development
  • Experience in supervision and training of staff, with a focus on Occupational Therapy
  • Full valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle
