About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Outcomes First Group, a leading provider of special education and care services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of our students with special needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement a holistic, therapeutic approach to support students with occupational and sensory needs
  • Conduct assessments, develop interventions, and prepare relevant documentation
  • Provide training and information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies as required
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create a supportive environment for students to thrive
Requirements
  • Occupational Therapy BSc (Hons) degree
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Experience working with adults and/or children with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, including those with complex needs
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Substantial post-qualification experience in special education or a related field
  • Experience in data management and analysis
  • Qualification in sensory integration or experience working with sensory integration techniques
  • Experience in supervising and training staff
  • Full valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle
