College Support Officer

Chichester College is seeking a dedicated and compassionate College Community Support Officer to join our team. As a key member of our community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of our students.
Key Responsibilities:- Act as Safeguarding Officer for assigned cases, working closely with the Safeguarding team to gather evidence and support students in need.
- Develop and maintain relationships with students, staff, and external partners to promote a positive and inclusive college environment.
- Provide guidance and support to students on college policies and procedures, ensuring they understand their rights and responsibilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify and address potential risks and concerns, contributing to a safe and supportive learning environment.
- GCSE maths and English Language, or equivalent at C/4 grade or above.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students and staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the needs of the college.
- Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check required.
