About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Energy Sustainability Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving our company's net zero ambition and reducing our utility consumption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive utility reduction roadmap for the company, aligning with our net zero strategy.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on energy management and sustainability best practices.
  • Lead and manage external contractors and consultants to optimize HVAC and Refrigeration Remote Monitoring services.
  • Conduct thorough analysis and provide informed recommendations to support decision-making and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective implementation of energy-saving initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to source energy-efficient solutions and services.
  • Monitor and report on energy consumption and savings, ensuring accurate tracking and validation of performance.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to reduce energy costs and improve operational efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest energy legislation, technology, and market trends, providing expert insights to inform business decisions.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in energy management and sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Expert knowledge of net zero strategies, particularly scope 1 and 2 emissions.
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding, with experience in data analysis and energy monitoring.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to educate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in managing external contractors and consultants, with a focus on optimizing energy efficiency.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify priorities and implement actions quickly.
  • A positive attitude and resilience, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and approaches.
