The Role: Health & Lifestyle Advisor

As a Health & Lifestyle Advisor at Bupa Remote Clinics, you'll play a vital role in supporting our customers on their health journeys. You'll leverage your knowledge and expertise to empower individuals to make positive lifestyle changes.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized lifestyle support through outbound calls and online tools, guiding customers towards achieving their health goals as identified during Health Assessments or through products like Smart DNA, Be.Me, or other relevant offerings.
  • Engage in open and honest conversations with customers about lifestyle modifications they can adopt to lead healthier lives.
  • Promote healthy living practices aligned with Bupa's clinical policies and national/international guidelines.
  • Deliver tailored lifestyle advice based on customer needs, considering their health risks, Health Assessment results, and well-being objectives.
  • Ensure customers receive comprehensive support throughout their Health Assessment journey.
  • Promote lifestyle coaching during each Health Assessment appointment, explaining its benefits, setting customer expectations, and confirming real-time booking arrangements.
  • Conduct Bupa Health Assessment tests in accordance with established protocols and procedures.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Science, Nutritional Science, or Sports Nutrition.
  • Experience performing measurements or assessments in a health and fitness environment (e.g., personal training or medical setting).
  • Proven ability to provide customer advice on healthy living practices, including physical activity, nutrition, smoking cessation, alcohol management, sleep hygiene, and stress reduction.
  • Solid understanding of anatomy/physiology in relation to health and lifestyle.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages.
  • Experience working in a customer-facing role that relies on one-on-one communication and interaction.
