About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned IT professional to join our team as a Terminal Operating System Team Manager at DP World Australia. As a key member of our IT team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our terminal operating system, providing technical leadership and guidance to our team members, and contributing to the development of our IT strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to the Terminal Operating System team, ensuring the successful implementation and maintenance of our terminal operating system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize IT projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and strategic initiatives.
- Develop and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with company regulations and industry best practices.
- Manage and maintain the terminal operating system, including configuration, installation, and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support and training to users, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively use the terminal operating system.
- Contribute to the development of our IT strategy, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration of third-party systems and services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, and vendors.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role, preferably in a terminal operating system environment.
- Proven track record of successful project implementation and management.
- Excellent technical skills, with a strong understanding of terminal operating systems and IT infrastructure.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
