Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Healthcare Support Worker at University Hospital Crosshouse. The successful candidate will actively participate in the delivery of care for patients, working in support of and under the supervision of a registered nurse, as part of the multidisciplinary team within the ward or department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the delivery of patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Support and assist registered nurses in the provision of care to patients.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and respectful environment for patients and staff.
  • Prioritize assigned workload and manage time effectively.

Requirements

  • SVQII in healthcare or equivalent experience gained working in a caring environment/role.
  • A caring, friendly disposition.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time efficiently.

Working Hours

29.7 hours per week.
