We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead our Mechanical Engineering team at SYSTRA UK & Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our team.

Main Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of Mechanical Engineers and acting as the Responsible Engineer on MEP projects. Key duties will include:

  • Leading a team of Mechanical Engineers to deliver high-quality design solutions
  • Ensuring projects are completed to meet client requirements and applicable standards
  • Managing project budgets and resources to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identifying and mitigating project risks and changes
  • Providing technical guidance and support to team members
  • Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum HNC qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical services design and construction principles
  • Experience in managing teams and leading projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strong understanding of CSM/CDM regulations and requirements
