About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Mechanical Engineering team at SYSTRA UK & Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Mechanical Engineers and acting as the Responsible Engineer on MEP projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of Mechanical Engineers and provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Act as the Responsible Engineer on MEP projects, ensuring that all client requirements are met and applicable standards are adhered to.
  • Plan and manage project works, providing forward view resource forecasting to enable the team leader to allocate suitable resource.
  • Identify changes to client requirements and raise them with the SYSTRA Project Management Team.
  • Provide monthly cost to complete forecasts to the SYSTRA Project Management Team.
  • Ensure the training and development needs of the mechanical team are met to serve the clients'/projects requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum HNC qualified in Mechanical Engineering or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Detailed knowledge of mechanical services design within the built environment or transport infrastructure, including HVAC, Public Health, Building Physics, and BIM.
  • Detailed knowledge of multi-disciplinary issues associated with M&E and building services.
  • Management of a team of Mechanical engineers on allocated projects.
