Position Overview

In the role of Senior Mechanical Engineering Specialist, you will collaborate with the engineering team to develop innovative jigs, fixtures, assembly workstations, and both semi-automated and fully automated production systems.

Your primary responsibilities will encompass:

  • Contributing to the lean manufacturing initiatives by designing machinery tailored for the Automotive, Aerospace, and other relevant sectors.
  • Creating designs for fixtures, jigs, assembly workstations, and machines that facilitate the manufacturing processes for our clients.
  • Producing detailed manufacturing drawings and coordinating with the production team.
  • Monitoring the manufacturing process to ensure accurate implementation of designs and project specifications.
  • Overseeing project commissioning and ensuring successful execution.
  • Engaging with clients to foster strong working relationships.
  • Verifying that all project designs adhere to company standards and regulations.

Candidate Profile

  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and Product Data Management (PDM) systems.
  • A solid background as a Design or Mechanical Engineer.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • A valid UK Driving License.
