Anderselite is currently seeking to engage with experienced Mechanical Engineers and Design Specialists who possess a strong background in the Water and Wastewater industries. Our clients are expanding their Design Engineering teams in anticipation of upcoming projects.


This role is ideal for individuals with substantial Mechanical Design expertise, particularly in Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation (MEICA) and Process components of Clean and Wastewater initiatives. Candidates should have experience with infrastructure projects, including but not limited to pumping stations, pipelines, treatment facilities, and river outlets.


As part of this position, you will have the chance to contribute to a variety of projects, ranging from minor upgrades to significant infrastructure developments. Your responsibilities will include the creation and coordination of both preliminary and detailed design outputs for integrated Process / Mechanical / Electrical systems.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess operational needs and recommend suitable design solutions.
  • Provide engineering calculations and solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with in-house and external design teams to develop effective designs.
  • Ensure all design activities adhere to established timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards, while complying with internal procedures and relevant regulations.
  • Participate in internal and external design evaluations and progress discussions.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Design Engineer within the Water sector, particularly on AMP Framework projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver design solutions for Clean and Wastewater projects, including infrastructure components.
  • A relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, with experience in hydraulic calculations for assets such as pipelines and pumping systems.
  • Familiarity with HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, Environment) standards and CDM regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with clients regarding design matters.
  • (Desirable) Knowledge of water and sewage treatment processes.
  • (Desirable) Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software.
